  Wander around the monthly Farmers Market in Dorchester

   Held on the last Saturday in the month

   Locally produced cheeses, bread and cakes, fresh fish, crab,

   lobster, wines, chutney, honey etc.

   On most days of the week a stall in the high street 

   offers local fresh fish + shellfish.

     

                                                   Poundbury, the new village near Dorchester inspired by

                                              HRH Prince of Wales holds a large Farmers Market on the first Saturday of the month.

There are many pubs and restaurants in the area ranging from bar snacks to fine dining, most offer a wide range of ales and wines some locally produced.
